Stretch
This class is all about developmental stretches. Developmental Stretches focus on increasing the muscle length or muscle flexibility. These stretches are held for an initial 6 to 10 seconds and then the stretch is taken a bit further for another 20 to 30 seconds, depending which muscle groups we are working on.
I incorporate several stretches on each muscle group and I make sure that the hamstrings (back of upper thighs), glutes (bottom), lower back, and front thighs are properly stretched. In fact your whole body will be stretched including your neck, forearms and feet whilst listening to soft music. Anyone that has an incorrect posture or muscle cramp should look at using developmental stretches.
